Here are some free, small but powerful softwares I recommend, all of them I am using or at least have tried.
Personally I don’t like to crack commecial software, instead I choose to use free software.
Wish you could like to use them.

• Gnome Commander – It seems to be a Linux version of Total Commander

• Spybot-S&D – Anti spyware, protect your privacy.

• eMule – eMule is one of the biggest and most reliable peer-to-peer file sharing clients around the world
• uTorrent – Quite small, fast but useful BT download tool
• Azureus – Written by Java, platform independent, powerful BT software but a little slow.

Text Editor

• NotePad++ – Very fast, tab & highlight supported
• PSPad – Free unicode developer editor
